Urban sketching and creative practice within a slow-life travel programme on the shores of Lake Balaton.

The programme combined urban sketching, travel and experimentation with unconventional drawing materials. Participants worked with pencils, markers and liners on paper, sandpaper, stone and bark, and experimented with natural and everyday materials including tea, coffee, wine and soy sauce.

The emphasis was not on technical perfection but on observation, curiosity and the freedom to experiment — drawing quickly while allowing the experience of the place to unfold slowly.
